Custom 3D Printed Terrain & Diorama Scenery

I design and 3D print custom terrain, scenery and landscape elements for tabletop gaming, model railways, and dioramas — from modular trenches and ruined buildings to scale fences and ground details. Everything is made to order in PLA or PETG in Finland and shipped across the EU, with a preview sent before anything is printed.

What terrain and scenery can I make?

Whether you’re filling a gaming table scene, building a model railway layout, or finishing a one-off diorama, here are some of the pieces I’m asked for most — and the problem each one solves.

  • Modular trench sections — build a different fortified battlefield every game without buying a fixed terrain set.
  • Ruined buildings & rubble — block sightlines and add atmosphere to grimdark, historical or sci-fi tables.
  • Sandbag walls & barricades — quick, repeatable cover pieces that fill a table fast.
  • Bunkers & gun emplacements — strong objective points that anchor a layout.
  • Barbed wire & obstacles — slow movement and add detail without much cost.
  • Hills, craters & scatter terrain — vary the table so every game looks different.
  • Bases & movement trays — rebase a whole army with consistent, sturdy bases in any size.
  • Objective markers & tokens — most game boxes don’t include enough; an easy extra for any game night.
  • Model railway scenery — fences, platform details, trackside buildings and ground textures for OO/HO and other railway scales.
  • Scenic diorama bases — custom groundwork sized exactly to your display base.

Any scale, painted or unpainted

Most requests are for 28–32mm gaming scales, but I can size pieces for any scale, including OO/HO model railways. Tell me your scale (or send a model or figure for size reference) and the piece will be designed to match. Items can be supplied unpainted, ready for you to finish, or pre-painted on request.

How custom terrain orders work

  1. Send a photo, sketch, or description of what you need, plus the scale.
  2. I confirm it’s something I can make and send a price — nothing is printed yet.
  3. Once you approve and pay a deposit, I print and photograph your piece.
  4. Your terrain is packed and shipped, usually within 3–7 working days.

Frequently asked questions

What scale of terrain can you 3D print?

Most requests are 28–32mm for gaming, but any scale is possible, including OO/HO model railway scenery — just tell me the scale or send something for size reference

Can you make terrain for model railways, not just gaming?

Yes. Fences, trackside details, small buildings and ground features for model railway layouts are all things I can design and print.

Is 3D printed terrain durable enough for regular games?

Yes. Printed in PLA or PETG, terrain handles the normal handling, transport and occasional drops of regular play well.

Can I order a custom diorama base in a specific size?

Yes. Send the dimensions you need and I’ll design groundwork or a base to fit exactly.

How do I order custom terrain?

Use the custom request form with a photo, sketch or description, the scale, and approximate size. You’ll receive a preview and price before anything is printed.
